Creamed Kale | Keto | Cooking With Thatown2

Wussup Towners. This keto friendly, low carb Creamed Kale recipe is very delicious and easy to make. If you don’t like kale and would like to swap out the ingredients for spinach you can definitely do so.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz bag of fresh kale
  • 2 tsp of butter
  • 1/2 cup of chopped onions
  • 1 tbs garlic
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsb of sugar substitute

Over medium high heat, start off by adding oil or butter to your pan, add onions and cook for 2 minutes season with garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 30 seconds, then add in cream cheese and heavy whipping cream. Continue cooking over medium low heat until the sauce thickens. Next, add the kale, and continue mixing. The sauce will continue to coat the kale and help with cooking the kale down. The kale will welt down like cabbage and spinach. Once the kale has cooked down. Season with nutmeg and sugar substitute. Once it is finished cooking let it rest and once it cools down the remaining liquid should tighten up. Enjoy! Thank you for watching!!!
