The Easiest Way To Cook A Sirloin Tip Roast | Keto | Low Carb | Cooking With Thatown2

Wussup Towners. Today we cooked a Sirloin Tip Roast in the oven. This was one of the easiest roasts we’ve ever cooked. We covered the whole roast with a seasoned butter mixture that we made by combining our Cooking With Thatown2 BBQ rub mix and softened unsalted Kerry gold Butter. Slathered that all over the roast and popped it in the oven. Sit back and relax and enjoy the video. Make sure you have some napkins because your mouth will be watering. LOL.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 lb Sirloin Tip Roast
  • 4 tbsp of unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup Cooking With Thatown2 BBQ Rub Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp rosemary
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp minced onion

Directions
We started off by removing the roast from the package and patting it dry with napkins to remove any excess liquid. My butter was still hard so I placed it in the microwave for 30 seconds. If your butter is already soft you can skip this step. Once the butter is softened add the Cooking With Thatown2 BBQ Rub or the rub of your choice to the butter. Mix everything together and rub the seasoned butter over all sides of the roast making sure you get it into all cracks and crevices, inside and out. Place the roast in a preheated oven at 500 degrees for 5 mins per lb. We placed our roast in the oven for 20 mins. After 20 minutes we inserted a probe thermometer and placed the roast back into the oven at 350 degrees until the internal temperature reached 145 degrees. It took my roast an hour and 15 minutes to reach that temp. Once out of the oven we let the roast rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
