Breakfast Tacos | Eggs Sausage and Cheese | Green Butter Lettuce | Cooking With Thatown2

Wussup Towners. Today we made tacos for breakfast but instead of using hard or soft tortilla shells we decided to wrap our tacos in green butter lettuce. Using lettuce leaves helps to keep the tacos keto friendly and low carb. You really do not miss the tortilla shell while eating the tacos this way. Enjoy.

  • Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • toppings
  • shredded cheese
  • sour cream
  • salsa

We started off by adding our sausage to a skillet and cooking them over medium high heat. We also added in some sliced jalapenos for some additional heat and flavor. After the sausages finished cooking we removed them from the skillet and added our eggs seasoned with salt and pepper. Cooking them in the same skillet as the previously cooked sausage. Added in 1 tbsp of butter and cooked the eggs for 2-3 minutes until no longer running. To assemble our tacos we placed down some cleaned and washed green butter lettuce leaves. On top of that, we layered toppings of sausage, eggs, cheese, sour cream, salsa, and jalapenos. Let’s Eat.
