Here is a simple Keto friendly, low carb pizza recipe that you can make very easily and quickly. This dough is made with Coconut flour, not Almond Flour. It has a more natural dough taste not the grainy taste that almond flour tends to have. Below are the steps to make the pizza. Enjoy. Thank you for watching!!!
Ingredients
Coconut Flour Crust
- 4 eggs
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 2 tbs softened cream cheese
- ¼ cup coconut flour
- 2 tbs water mix together and let stand for 5 minutes. Coconut flour is very absorbent.
Directions
In a large bowl add mixed eggs, and parmesan cheese, and season with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and oregano. Add in softened cream cheese and coconut flour. Mix all ingredients together to form a dough ball.
Lay down 2 sheets of wax paper or parchment paper and spray both sheets with olive oil spray. Pour the dough directly in the middle of one of the sheets of wax paper and lay the other piece over the top of the dough to roll out the dough. Use a rolling pin to roll out your dough. A trick that I use is to use the round pizza pan that you will be baking the pizza on and press down on the dough to shape the dough to the shape that you need. Bake the coconut flour dough for 15 minutes at 400°degrees. Once the dough comes out of the oven then you can load the pizza with your sauce cheeses and whatever toppings that you prefer on your pizza. You can place the pizza back in the oven at 400° for 15 more minutes or you can put it under the broiler until the cheese melts.
