Wussup Towners. Today we made a no-crust pizza using pepperoni and salami as the crust. This keto friendly, low carb pizza came out excellent. Just lay down the meat top it with sauce and load on whatever toppings you like, pop it in the oven and you’re good to go. Try it out and let me know what you think.
Ingredients
- 10-15 slices of thick-cut pepperoni/salami
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese
- ⅛ cup yellow onion
- 1 Roma tomato
- 1 jalapeno
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
Directions
Start by preheating the oven to 425. We place the pepperoni and salami in a cast iron skillet in a circular pattern overlapping the meat to make sure we didn’t have any gaps in the crust. Next, we topped the meat with a tomato sauce seasoned with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasonings. Next, we sprinkled half the cheese over the pizza sauce. Then add the toppings, onions, tomatoes, and jalapenos. Then finished adding the rest of the cheese on top. Try to get your sauce and toppings as close to the edge of the pizza as possible. We baked the pizza in the oven at 425 degrees for 10 mins. Then we placed it under the broiler on high for one minute to brown the cheese on top. Let the pizza cool for 2-3 minutes and enjoy.
