Wussup Towners. Today we are outside barbequing and we put a little spin on the BBQ sauce that we normally use. Today we are making an Alabama White BBQ Sauce that is sugar free, keto and low carb friendly. Alabama white BBQ sauce is a mayonnaise-based sauce that is a bit tart due to the vinegar and lemon juice that is added. The sauce has a distinct flavor but reminds you of a ranch dressing. But it goes great on all sorts of meats. We’ve had it dipped in chicken, sausages, and eggs. Try this recipe out guys. Enjoy.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup prepared horseradish
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (add less if you do not want the heat)
1 tbs mustard
optional if you want a thinner sauce add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water
In a large bowl, we added mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, prepared horseradish, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and stone ground mustard. Whisk everything together until smooth and creamy. Placed this in the refrigerator for an hour. If your sauce is too thick add water 1 tablespoon at a time to thin it out.
