Wussup Towners. Try out this sugar free Peach Rum BBQ Sauce. It’s sweet and flavorful and can be used to baste meats or as a dipping sauce. It goes well with chicken, beef, pork, and even veggies. Enjoy.
Ingredients
- 2 tbs butter
- 1/4 cup of onions
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 6 oz sugar free peach preserves
- 1 tsp brown sugar substitute
- 2 tbs apple cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 1 oz rum
To make this Peach Rum BBQ sauce. We started off by adding butter to a saucepot. Once the butter melted we added onions and sweated them down for 2-3 minutes over low heat. Next, we added garlic, ground ginger, sugar free peach preserves, brown sugar substitute, apple cider vinegar, ground mustard, and rum. Continue to cook on a low simmer for 5 mins to allow the sauce to reduce and the alcohol to cookout. Use sauce to baste meat or use it as a dipping sauce. Store in the refrigerator when not in use.
