Wussup Towners. This Homemade Coleslaw is keto friendly, sugar free, and low carb. We thinly sliced the cabbage and added salt to it and let it sit for an hour to soften up the cabbage. We then washed the cabbage to remove the salt, drained all the water, and added mayonnaise, dijon mustard, stone ground mustard, celery seed, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. We then mixed all the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl to make this wonderfully flavorful homemade coleslaw. Enjoy!
Ingredients
Cabbage prep
- 1/2 green cabbage thinly chopped
- 1/2 red cabbage thinly chopped
- 1 tbsp of salt to soften the cabbage
Dressing
- 6 oz of shredded carrots
- 1 cup of Mayonnaise
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- 2 tsp stone ground mustard
- 1 tbs celery seed
- 1 tbs apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
optional
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
