Long Island Iced Tea | Keto | Sugar Free | Homemade Orange Extract | Cooking With Thatown2

Wussup Towners. It’s time for another drink. Long Island Ice Tea is basically my drink of choice when I used to go out. But we all know the triple sec and coke used is a no go. So we played around with the recipe and were able to create a Keto Friendly, Low Carb version of a Long Island Iced Tea. We used diet coke, lemon juice, and lime juice and made a homemade orange extract. Hope you guys enjoy this recipe. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 oz tequila
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz gin
  • 1 oz rum
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp orange extract
  • top of with diet coke

Homemade Orange Extract

  • Peels of one orange
  • 1/2 cup vodka

In a large cup over ice add tequila, vodka, gin, rum, lemon juice, lime juice, and orange extract. Stir together and top off with diet coke.

To make your own homemade orange extract. Add fresh orange pills to a bowl and cover the pills with vodka. Let sit in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours.
