This keto friendly, low carb Pork Chop and Fried Cabbage recipe is for a simple easy quick weekday or weekend dinner. Rosemary seasoned Pork chops and Fried Cabbage.
Pork Chops
- 2 Thick Cut Pork Chops
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp rosemary
- 1/2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
Fried Cabbage
- 1 Head of Cabbage Washed and Chopped
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1/2 yellow onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp creole seasoning
Season Pork Chops with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, thyme, rosemary, and lemon pepper seasoning. Add oil and unsalted butter to a hot skillet and cook pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side depending on your level of doneness.
Peel off a few of the tough outer leaves of the cabbage. Chop the cabbage up into 1 inch slices and remove the core. Rinse the cabbage under cold water to clean. Chop onion and garlic and saute over medium high heat for 1-2 minutes with unsalted butter. Add in cabbage and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and creole seasoning. Cook the cabbage over medium high heat continuously stirring. The cabbage will release a lot of liquid. Cook for 8-10 minutes once fork tender the cabbage is ready to eat.
