Wussup Towners. Today we made a triple decker, keto friendly, low carb ham and cheese sandwich. This sandwich was a game changer for me with all the pan fried ham, grilled jalapenos, and melted cheese, all wrapped in the crunchy iceberg lettuce. It all meshed together AMAZINGLY. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 head of Iceberg Lettuce
- 1/2 cup sliced Ham
- 2 slices Cheese
- 1 Jalapeno
- 1/8 cup Pickles
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Mustard
Directions
Take the iceberg lettuce and cut the core off the iceberg lettuce to allow you to peel off whole leaves of lettuce. Take three leaves one large, one medium, and one smaller piece. In a frying pan fry up your ham and jalapenos once heated mix in cheese in between layers of ham to melt. In one of your lettuce leaf bowls add mustard, the other mayo, and the last cheese. Separate the ham into 3 equal parts and add to each lettuce leaf bowl. then combine both the medium and smaller leaves into the largest lettuce leaf bowl. then close all the leaves and cut them in half.
