Wussup Towners, these keto friendly, low carb sugar free Peppermint Patties were delicious and very easy to make with only a few ingredients needed.
Ingredients
Peppermint Patties
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 cup of sugar free chocolate chips (we used Lillies)
- 3 oz cream cheese
- 1 tbsp sugar substitute (monkfruit sweetener)
- ½ tbsp of peppermint extract
In a bowl add coconut oil and sugar free chocolate chips, and microwave in 10-sec increments until the chocolate is melted. Pour the chocolate into the silicone mold 1/3 of the way up the mold. Place the mold in the freezer for 15 minutes until the chocolate has hardened. While the chocolate is in the freezer in a bowl mix cream cheese, monkfruit sweetner, and peppermint extract together and place on top of the bottom layer of chocolate. Place the mold back into the freezer for 10 more minutes. Once out of the freezer pour the remaining chocolate over the top of the peppermint patties and for the last time place back into the freezer for 10 minutes or until hard. Store these peppermint patties in the freezer. They will melt fast.
