Hello Towners, This Chicken Cordon Bleu is keto friendly low carb, and super simple to make. Help take some frustration out from a long day on a chicken breast by pounding it down and enjoy this recipe.
- 2 chicken breast
- 12 slices of deli ham
- ½ cup of mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
Take the chicken breast and slice them in half, flatten them out with a mallet, and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and chili powder. Add 3 slices of ham per chicken breast and top with mozzarella cheese. Roll the chicken breast up and keep closed with toothpicks. add olive oil to a skillet and brown all 4 sides for 1-2 mins per side over medium-high heat. Then place in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 mins or until juices run clear.
