Wussup Towners. These Grape Jelly and Chili Sauce Meatballs are perfect appetizers for any party or gathering you may have. They are super easy to make on a stovetop/oven or slow cooker. These meatballs are keto friendly and sugar free. Made with a homemade chili sauce and a sugar free jelly. Enjoy.
Ingredients
- 26 oz bag or 1.6 lbs of frozen Meatballs
- 12 oz jar of chili sauce
- 1/3 cup sugar free blackberry jelly
If your making a homemade sauce
- 3 tbs tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbs brown sugar substitute
- 2 tbs vinegar
- 1 tbs chili powder
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
In a saucepan we added tomato paste, water, brown sugar substitute, vinegar, chili powder, allspice, onion powder, garlic powder, and sugar free grape jelly. Mix everything together and cook over low heat until well combined.
Next, we added the frozen meatballs into a slow cooker on low for 4 hours, poured the sauce over top and let it cook. If you notice some of the meatballs are not covered in sauce feel free to mix the meatballs up so that they are coated. We served this with cauliflower mashed potatoes. Enjoy.
