These Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings are keto friendly, low carb and sugar free. They are healthier due to being baked. Enjoy!
Ingredients
chicken wings
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp olive oil
Sauce
- 1 tbs olive oil (sesame oil optional)
- 1 tbs crushed red peppers (less if you want less heat)
- 4 green onions
- 3-4 cloves of garlic
- 1 jalapeno
- 2 tsp chili garlic oil
- finish wings with a pinch of salt once out of the oven
Season the chicken wings with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, baking powder, and olive. Place the wings in a preheated oven at 425 for 40 mins ( or your desired level of crispness. It took my wings 60 mins to get to the level of crispiness that I wanted. ) flipping halfway through. To make the sauce add olive oil, garlic, and crushed red peppers to a skillet over medium high heat and cook for 45-60 seconds. Next, add in the green onions and jalapenos and saute for another 60 seconds. Once complete add to a bowl and add the chili garlic oil. Mix and toss with wings and enjoy.
