Wussup Towners. Today we are making a Green Salsa/Salsa Verde. This green salsa/salsa verde is keto friendly, low carb, and very easy to make. This salsa has a nice mild flavor to it, it wasn’t as hot as I thought it would be due to adding a whole jalapeno and serrano pepper. The consistency of this salsa is very creamy due to the tomatillos and avocado that were added. In order to truly call it the HULK SALSA I think I’m gonna have to remake it and add some habaneros to it to turn up the heat LOL!. Please Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 3 tomatillos
- 1/2 yellow onion
- 2 jalapenos
- 2 serrano peppers
- 3 whole garlic
- 1 avocado
- 1 bunch of cilantro
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp salt
Directions chop the tomatillo and jalapenos length-wise, then rough chop your onion and place on a baking sheet cut side down along with the serrano peppers and garlic. Place this in the oven under the broiler on high and roast for 10 minutes. After roasting add all ingredients to a blender along with the avocado, cilantro, vinegar, olive oil, water, and salt, and blend until it is well combined. Once blending is complete salsa is done. Enjoy!
