Today we cooked a delicious tender super flavorful bone In Ribeye Roast for the Easter Holiday. We seasoned the roast with salt and pepper and left it in the fridge overnight to draw out as much moisture as possible, to help us with achieving an amazing crust on the outside of the steak as possible while cooking it.
- Ingredients
- 1 bone in rib eye roast
- 4 oz of butter
- 1 tbs of itailan seasoning
- 1 tsp of thyme
- 1 tsp of rosemary
- 1 tsp of chili powder
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 6-8 whole cloves of garlic ( 3 cloves are chopped to go into butter the rest can be inserted inside the roast)
- Kosher Salt
- Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
Directions
We seasoned the roast with salt and pepper and placed it in the refrigerator uncovered overnight. Next, we made a compound butter with unsalted butter, Italian seasoning, thyme, rosemary, chili powder, and paprika. We covered the roast on all sides with the butter. Then slit holes into the roast and insert whole garlic cloves. Placed the roast in the oven at 500 degrees for 5 minutes per pound. We then lowered the heat down to 350 and left a thermometer in the meat at the thickest part until we reached our desired temperature
